Standing here, you're in the presence of living history. The Fountain Am Plan, built in 1806, is a neoclassical creation that marks the early water supply of Koblenz. Look around, and you'll see that it stands alongside the Obelisk at Deinhardplatz and Kastorbrunnen as one of the last of its kind. To your left, just 25 meters away, is the former city command building. As you move further, you'll encounter the Michaelskapelle and the Four Towers. This fountain is not only a testament to engineering but also a visual centerpiece on Am Plan square.
