The Fire and Disaster Protection Academy, once known as the Fire and Disaster Protection School, is a key hub for training. Run by the Ministry of the Interior, it consolidates expertise in non-police emergency response. With the establishment of the State Office for Fire and Disaster Protection on January 1, 2025, it combines the tasks of Directorate 22 of the ADD and the academy. To the north, you can see Fort Asterstein, a historical landmark that witnesses the evolving safety structures in the region.
