Guided Story
Imagine stepping into a space that has been alive with fragrances for over three centuries. Right here, within these historic walls, the journey of Eau de Cologne began. Take a look around; these original production rooms hold a unique charm. Did you know it was initially created as a remedy for the plague? Giovanni Maria Farina intended it to be a cure-all. Look to your left, and you'll see the Wallraf-Richartz Museum. Just a few steps to the south, the Carnival Fountain bubbles away. Here in Altstadt-Nord, history and modernity blend into a sensory experience you won't forget.
