Located at Waidmarkt in Cologne's Old Town South, the Hermann-Joseph Fountain is a striking example of 19th-century sculptural art. Created by Wilhelm Albermann in 1894, the sculptures depict scenes from the life of 'Apple Saint' Hermann Joseph of Steinfeld. Since 1980, the fountain has been listed as a monument in Cologne's heritage registry.
