St. Maria ad Gradus, commonly known as St. Mariengraden, was a significant Romanesque collegiate church located east of Cologne Cathedral. Founded in 1062, it housed the remains of Blessed Richeza, Queen of Poland and granddaughter of Emperor Otto II and Empress Theophanu. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of this once splendid church.
