Otto-Moericke-Turm

Take a look at this remarkable structure built in 1929. Named after a former mayor, the Otto Moericke Tower stands as a significant landmark in Konstanz-Allmannsdorf with a rich history. Perched at the highest point of Allmannshöhe, 458 meters above sea level, it offers you an expansive view of Lake Constance. From this vantage point, you can gaze far across the water and appreciate the surrounding landscape. Originally intended as a water tower, it has also served as a youth hostel from the very beginning, blending functionality with hospitality. If you turn around, you might catch a glimpse of the Allmannsdorf Cemetery, just 85 meters to the northwest. A short walk south leads you to St. George's Church, approximately 475 meters away.
