Founded in 1993, Kunstverein Leipzig launched its exhibition activities in 1994 on Nonnenstraße. After relocating to Kolonnadenstraße in 2007, it was dissolved in 2013. The premises later became home to the Contemporary Art Association Leipzig in 2014.
