The Richard Wagner Monument in Leipzig commemorates the German composer Richard Wagner, who was born in the city in 1813. Unveiled in 2013 for his 200th birthday, it was created by Stephan Balkenhol using a base designed by Max Klinger in 1904. The monument holds the status of a heritage monument in Saxony.
