The Schillerhaus in Leipzig's Gohlis district hosted Friedrich Schiller during the summer of 1785, where he worked on significant literary pieces. As part of the Museum of City History Leipzig, the former farmhouse offers free entry to its permanent exhibition starting March 1, 2024. It was here that the first version of the famous poem 'Ode to Joy' was written.
