Once known as Johanniskirche, its striking Gothic elements are still evident. Look ahead to where the facade meets the dike, part of the Elberadweg. This dike not only protects the district from the Elbe but also offers a picturesque link to nature. A bit further southeast, you can spot the Prester transformer station, another historic landmark. Now recognized as a cultural monument, this former church has found a new purpose as a restaurant, keeping its historical essence alive in a unique way.
