Take a moment to look around; you're standing at one of Magdeburg's most historic museums. The Museum of Natural History opened its first exhibitions in 1875, making it the oldest museum in the city. In 1945, it moved into the building of the former Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum. This building is shared with the Cultural History Museum, just about 30 meters southeast. Together, they form an intriguing dual museum setup. To the north, you'll find the monuments of Philipp, Selma, and Herbert Schmulewitz, just over 160 meters away. It's remarkable how history and nature come together at this site.
