The Marktplatz Fountain in Mannheim was originally created in 1719 by Peter van den Branden for the Heidelberg Castle Garden. In 1769, it was redesigned by his son Johann Matthäus van den Branden. Now a cultural monument, it stands on the marketplace, showcasing Baroque craftsmanship.
