The Museumsschiff Mannheim is a historic side-wheel steamer, constructed in 1929 for the Lower and Middle Rhine Steamship Company. It was the thousandth vessel built by the Christof Ruthof shipyard and the last paddle steamer made for the Cologne-Düsseldorf company. After significant damage in 1956, the hull was entirely rebuilt.
