The Ochsenpferchbunker in Mannheim, constructed during World War II, stands 20 meters tall on the northern banks of the Neckar River. This heritage-listed structure is located at the entrance to the Jungbusch Bridge in the Neckarstadt-West district. Originally built in the 'Ochsenpferch' area, it was also known as the 'Bunker at the Hindenburg Bridge'.

Standing before you is the largest above-ground bunker in Mannheim, the Ochsenpferchbunker. Built during World War II, it rises 20 meters on the northern banks of the Neckar River, serving as a powerful reminder of the past. You'll find this heritage-listed structure at the entrance to the Jungbusch Bridge, visible southwest from here. Originally constructed in the 'Ochsenpferch' area, it was once also known as the 'Bunker at the Hindenburg Bridge.' To the east, just a short distance away, is the Marchivum.
