Bad Forstenrieder Park

You're standing at a place that was once buzzing with life. Bad Forstenrieder Park, opened in 1976, was a beloved indoor pool and community hub in the Forstenried district. Look around, here on Stäblistraße 27b, just east of the elementary school on Forstenrieder Allee. It was more than just a swimming pool – it was a part of the community where generations of Munich residents learned to swim and created lasting memories. Managed by Stadtwerke München, they maintained the facility with renovations in 2002 and 2024, before it finally closed on April 12, 2025. Today, the site stands as a reminder of its vibrant past and the many stories made here. If you look west, you'll find the Derzbachhof, a historic landmark just 305 meters away.
