Guided Story
Take a moment to look around. That grand statue towering over you? It's the Bavaria. Ever thought a statue could be more than just art, but a guardian of history? That's exactly what Bavaria is for this region. Designed by the renowned architect Leo von Klenze, this statue is more than meets the eye. To your left, you'll see the Hall of Fame, closely tied to Bavaria's story. Originally, the plan was to cast the statue from the copper of captured cannons—a symbol of victory. Every detail, from the braided hair to the mighty lion at her feet, tells a tale of power and identity. And if you're here during Oktoberfest, you might just feel the heartbeat of Bavaria pulsing even stronger.
