Since 1976, Drehleier has been a staple in Munich's small-scale art scene. Originally founded by Beppi Bachmair, Uwe Kleinschmidt, and Werner Winkler, it relocated to Rosenheimer Straße 123 in 1997. Now managed by Manuela Hoffmann, it continues to offer diverse cultural experiences.
