Here in the Bahnhofsviertel, since July 2001, the EineWeltHaus has stood as a key venue for North-South dialogue. This cultural and event center was opened in a building owned by the city of Munich, which also funds the project. The operator, EineWeltHaus München e.V., originated from a Third World café dedicated to fostering intercultural exchange. People gather here to discuss global issues and learn from each other.
