Munich's English Garden, inspired by English landscape gardens, spans an impressive 3.75 km² along the western bank of the Isar. Designed by Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell in 1789, the park is maintained by the Bavarian Administration of State-Owned Palaces, Gardens and Lakes. A standout feature is the children's carousel near the Chinese Tower.
