The Johannisbrunnhaus in Munich is a technical monument operating since 1808, using water power to drive the grand fountains of Nymphenburg Palace Park. Initially constructed with wooden components, these were replaced by cast iron in 1835, enabling a pumping capacity of up to 60 liters per second. It is considered one of Europe's oldest continuously operating machines.
