Located on Munich's Marienplatz, the Mary's Column was erected in 1638 to honor the Patrona Bavariae, Bavaria's patron saint. The column, featuring a Corinthian style, is topped by the Immaculata created by Hubert Gerhard in 1593. Recognized as a heritage monument in Bavaria, the base includes four bronze putti added between 1639 and 1641.
