Founded in 1827, Odeonsplatz is an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria, situated at the southern end of Ludwigstraße. Named after the Odeon concert hall, built by King Ludwig I of Bavaria and architect Leo von Klenze, the square unites the grand Feldherrnhalle with the Residenz and Theatiner Church.
