Sankt Nikolaus (Nordost)

You're standing in front of St. Nikolaus Church in Freimann. Take a look at the remarkable tower, which dates back to the early 14th century. This tower is the oldest surviving part of the church. The nave was added in the late 19th century in the Neo-Gothic style, giving the building its distinctive character. The church tells a story that stretches back to the beginnings of early Gothic architecture. Dedicated to St. Nicholas of Myra, it is a protected heritage monument in Bavaria. To your left, you'll find the cemetery at Heinrich-Groh-Straße 11, which is part of the church and serves as a peaceful place for reflection.
