Guided Story
Imagine standing here in the heart of Ramersdorf-Perlach, right above one of Munich’s hidden gems. Beneath your feet lies Therese-Giehse-Allee, named after one of the most influential actresses of the 20th century. Look to your left, and you'll see the clean and functional architecture typical of the late 70s and early 80s. Did you know that the station was originally clad with fiber cement panels? These were only replaced in 2022 with a more modern design. But the centerpiece remains the artistic element – the Kunstisarkiesel that adorns the platform floor, bringing a touch of Munich into the underground world. And if you're wondering why it feels so peaceful here: above you, a small park provides a hidden oasis from the urban hustle and bustle.
