Evangelische Universitätskirche

Take a look at the stunning Gothic architecture designed by Antonius Hülse. This church, built between 1632 and 1687, was once known as the Observantenkirche. It originally served as a monastery church for the Franciscan Observants and is now owned by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It acts as the Protestant University Church and is used by the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Münster as a university and concert church. To the north, you can spot the Buddenturm, just 82 meters away. Nearby are the Frauengarten and the historic Johanneskapelle.
