The Jesuitenturm in Neuss is a remnant of the former Jesuit monastery and school, which the Jesuits took over in 1616 from the Franciscan monastery founded in 1234. Following the dissolution of the Jesuit order in 1773, the surrounding buildings were used for industry before the tower was restored in 1968. As a cultural heritage monument of Germany, it stands as a testament to a rich history.
