The Großer Saal is a multi-story Gothic hall located on the south side of the old Nuremberg Town Hall. The upper floor houses the historical council hall, a key piece of medieval architecture. Built in the 14th century, the hall was extended with two annexes to the north, with the one containing the council chamber on the east side still intact.
