The Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, established on June 1, 1946, is a renowned private symphony orchestra in the Nuremberg metropolitan area. Supported institutionally by the Free State of Bavaria, the city of Nuremberg, and the district of Middle Franconia, their concert projects also receive backing from economic sponsors, with Sparkasse Nürnberg as the main sponsor.
