In front of you stands Schloss Großgründlach, also known as Hallerschloss. This architectural heritage monument was constructed between 1685 and 1700, replacing earlier structures from the 12th and 16th centuries. Although it's privately owned, its prominent position allows you to admire both the castle and its gardens from various viewpoints. Just 39 meters to the east, you can see the St. Laurentius Church. If you look northeast, about 90 meters away, there's the Wolfsmantelmarter monument. Walking around here gives you a sense of the historical architecture that defines this Bavarian landmark.
