Schmausenbuckturm

Picture yourself standing on one of the highest points in the Lorenzer Reichswald. The wind gently brushes against you, and you can hear the rustle of the leaves. Look up, you'll see the Schmausenbuck Tower, standing tall and proud. Did you know it's considered an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria? To your right, just a bit further, you can sense the enclosures of the Nuremberg Zoo, only a stone's throw away. If you gaze westward, you might catch a glimpse of the Predator House, part of this fascinating wildlife area. And if you're lucky, you might even hear the distant roar of a lion. The best time to be here is when the first rays of the sun bathe the forest in golden light or when dusk paints the city in soft hues. It's a perfect spot to take in the beauty of Nuremberg from above.
