The War Memorial 1870/71 in Oldenburg was inaugurated on November 28, 1875, to commemorate the fallen soldiers from Osternburg during the Franco-Prussian War. Initially located in central Osternburg, the 7.3-meter stone monument was relocated to Wunderburg Park in 1962. It is now a protected architectural heritage site in Lower Saxony.
