You're standing by the bell tower of the former Gnadenkirche, a quiet reminder of Schinkel's history. Built in 1960, the church once served a growing community of Reformed Protestants in Osnabrück. However, due to financial difficulties and declining attendance, the church was closed in 2007. Three years later, the church was demolished, but the tower remained. Today, it stands alongside a daycare center that was built on the site. Look around: the Pauluskirche is approximately 507 meters to the south, and the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche can be found about 553 meters to the southwest.
