Built in 1910, the Prinzregent-Luitpold-Brücke connects Passau's Old Town with Angerstraße beneath the Veste Oberhaus. Spanning 208 meters, it crosses the Danube just before the Ilz converges. The bridge's support cables are anchored on the south side by a pylon and into a rock face on the north side.
