The Weisbachsche Haus in Plauen, built in 1776 as a calico printing factory, is Saxony's most significant surviving manufacturing building and a precursor of Saxon industrial architecture. Since November 2023, it houses the interactive Museum 'Fabrik der Fäden', marking its importance in the city's industrial heritage.
