This biotite granite boulder from the Gästner Valley in the Bernese Oberland was found in Thierachern. It commemorates the Swiss colonists who landed in Potsdam on June 18, 1685, after a six-week journey to cultivate the Golm marshes. The stone serves as a memorial to the 14 Reformed Swiss families recruited by Elector Friedrich Wilhelm.
