You're standing in the heart of Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg. Just to the west, about 82 meters away, is the Galerie Schindler, a spot for art enthusiasts. If you look northwest, you'll see the Riekeles Gallery. Potsdam is nestled in a hilly morainic landscape, surrounded by numerous lakes—around 20 of them are within the city limits. The River Havel, a tributary of the Elbe, flows through the city, adding a unique charm. Just 106 meters to the north, you'll find the St. Peter and Paul Church, another landmark nearby. Potsdam is part of the Berlin/Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, located about 25 kilometers southwest of Berlin's city center.
