Park Babelsberg spans 124 hectares in Potsdam and is part of the Berlin-Potsdam palace park ensemble, along with the Neuer Garten and Park Sanssouci. Designed starting in 1833 by Peter Joseph Lenné and later by Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, the park surrounds Schloss Babelsberg, the former summer residence of Emperor Wilhelm I. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and managed by the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg.
