Guided Story
Take a look at this magnificent building that was once a monastery. Did you know that although the museum was founded in 1931, it only opened its doors after World War II? Just behind you, a short walk away, is the Minoritenkirche, which is also part of the museum complex. Imagine monks once wandering these halls. Inside the museum, you'll find not just history, but a sense of the people who lived and worked here. One of the highlights is the impressive collection of medieval sculptures. If you look to your left now, you can imagine how lively this place must have been in times long past.
