The former Winterberg Memorial in Saarbrücken was a war memorial commemorating Prussia's victory in the Battle of Spichern on August 6, 1870. Built in 1874 by architect Otto Lieber, the 30-meter high tower stood on an artificial hill. Today, only the reconstructed base with stairs remains, which is a protected monument.
