Friedenskirche

In front of you stands the Friedenskirche, a striking example of post-war architecture, built between 1954 and 1955. This Protestant church was once part of the Ohligs congregation, a central gathering place for many people in Solingen. Notice the clean lines and minimalist design, reflecting the functional aesthetic of its time. Behind you, about 200 meters southeast, you'll find the Liebfrauen church, easily recognizable by its bell tower.
