The Kniepertor, one of the two remaining city gates in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, is a significant cultural monument and part of the Stralsund city walls. Named after a 13th-century local family, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Historic Old Towns of Stralsund and Wismar.
