The Lanz Memorial commemorates Forester Otto Lanz (1837-1929) and was erected on September 7, 1930, in the Bürgerwald near the Rotenwaldstraße. In 1963, it was moved to its current location due to the widening of Rotenwaldstraße. Made of stone, it bears the inscription 'In memory of Forstrat Lanz'.
