The Kaiserthermen in Trier are remarkable remnants of a Roman bath complex, known for their monumental walls. Since 1986, they have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage and are protected as a cultural monument. Although never completed, the structures are among the largest Roman baths north of the Alps.
