Standing here on Kockelsberg, you're at one of Trier's highest points, 334 meters above sea level. In front of you is the striking sandstone formation that drops sharply towards the Moselle River. Take a look around, and you'll find the Berghotel Kockelsberg, a perfect spot for taking in the expansive views. Imagine the days when the Trier cable car would glide towards the nearby Weißhaus. Today, traces of that history still linger. To the south, you can spot the Waldstadion in the distance, a popular venue for sports and leisure.
