Founded on January 17, 1101, Bebenhausen Monastery is an impressive example of Cistercian architecture and a cultural heritage monument in Germany. After the Reformation, the buildings served various roles, including a monastic school and hunting lodge for the kings of Württemberg. Today, the monastery church functions as a Protestant parish church.
