Opened in 1888, the Nerobergbahn is a unique water ballast and rack railway located in northern Wiesbaden. Covering a distance of 438 meters, it ascends 83 meters with an average incline of 19 percent. Managed by ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft, it serves over 250,000 passengers annually, with around 80 percent being tourists.
