The memorial in Herbede, Witten, honors soldiers who fell in World War I and II. Constructed under Pastor Kracht's guidance between 1932 and 1934, it has stood on Küsters Nocken at Bruno-Heide-Straße since 1935. It has been a protected architectural heritage monument in North Rhine-Westphalia since May 31, 2002.
