Katholische Kirchengemeinde St. Raphael

You're standing in front of St. Raphael Church, a notable piece of modern architecture. Designed by Toni Hermanns, this church is recognized as a cultural heritage monument in Lower Saxony. Notice the clean lines and modern structure that blend seamlessly with the surroundings. Named after the Archangel Raphael, it serves as a spiritual center for the Catholic community in the districts of Detmerode and Westhagen. If you look to your left, you might catch a glimpse of the Stephanuskirche, about 200 meters northwest. As the youngest church in the Wolfsburg-Helmstedt deanery, it beautifully combines religious significance with contemporary design and is part of the St. Christophorus parish.
