Guided Story
Have you ever walked through the gates of history? Right here, where you're standing in the courtyard of the former Andreasstift, you can feel the centuries-old stones beneath your feet. Look around; these walls tell tales from when this building was a monastery. Did you know that monks once lived here, spending their days in prayer and labor? Now, it houses priceless artifacts that whisper stories of emperors, wars, and heroes like those in the Nibelungen saga. If you glance to your left, you'll see the impressive Christoffelturm, keeping watch over the city. And just behind you, a short walk away, lies the oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe, the 'Heiliger Sand'. A stroll through this city is like flipping through a living history book.
