Completed in 1736, the Schönbornkapelle is a baroque masterpiece designed by Balthasar Neumann. Initially constructed as the Schönborn family burial site, it is situated in the north transept of Wurzburg Cathedral. Since 2020, the chapel has been surrounded by scaffolding due to falling façade parts.
